| In 1853 Maison Goyard is launched at 233 rue Saint Honoré. In 1888 Francois Goyard hands the company over to his son Edmond Goyard. 1892 sees the chevron motif appear on coated canvas for the first time. Between 1894 - 1912 stores open in Monte Carlo, with concessions in the U.S, England, Belgium, Spain and Russia. |
